Tehran Children reviewed in the The New York Review of Books!

It is startling to discover in a book written by a stranger answers you have always been seeking, even unconsciously, to the most fundamental personal questions.

When I published Tehran Children, I didn’t know it would end up answering lots of questions for lots of strangers. Many of them contacted me, including Ruth Franklin, and I was happy to share my sources. Now Ruth has published an incredibly beautiful and moving piece in The New York Review of Books, about growing up without a past, and finally piecing it together.
