My book just came out in Hebrew!
After two long years, a pandemic, and a lengthy translation process, I’m thrilled that it’s finally out with the wonderful Books in the Attic/ Yediot Aharonot Press. The Hebrew title is “The Lucky Ones: How my father, the Tehran Children, and a quarter million Polish Jews survived the Holocaust.”
The story of Tehran Children is better known in Israel, where most of their descendants live; I’m curious and a bit emotional as I anticipate how this story will be received there, by those who share this legacy and who have the same background and blind spots that I had when I began my book.
